{AuGuSt cAtCh Up}

{I've decided that I'm slacking too much on my blogging so I'm going to try and just do a monthly update. So lets begin where we left off...the month of August. Sadly this month summer came to an end however we are very much looking forward to Fall and the holidays. The kiddos are growing so quickly..it just kills me.

Trae is talking so much more and putting sentences together..its cute having a conversation with him. He also has been much better at sleeping in his own bed.}

{ Miss Layla is the busiest little bee you'd ever seen. Crawling, climbing, pulling herself up on everything. She is such a happy easy baby. Still sleeps all night which is so wonderful!!!}

{The second weekend in August MP had his 10 year high school reunion that we attended. Mp and a couple other gals were in charge of planning and putting the whole thing together. He spent alot of time and hard work on the evening and it turned out wonderful. They held it at the Egyptian Center in Ogden, had a yummy dinner and program. It was s fun night out with no kiddos. ha}

{The next weekend my parents came from St. George to visit and my dad took all us girls to the Sugarland concert. It was so fun. I just love them & so do my parents. It was awesome thanks to my papa we had fabulous 3rd row seating!! Loved it!}

{And last but not least i want to blame my "no time to blog" on my house re-doing obsession I have had lately..it seems to be taking up any free time i do have with home projects. So I thought I'd share what I've been up too. Ever since we got our pics taken in August I have just been wanting to re-do lots in my house so I started with the photo walls....

then the chair I was handed down from my Grandpa that was in our family pics I wanted to make matching pillows for it and the couch....

{And finally I have been on the search for the perfect rug since Mother's day!!! yes Happy Mothers Day to me in August!!! I finally found the rug on Urban Outfitters for only $69.00!! Love the color, love chevron stripes!!its perfect and so I had to tie the turquoise into my kitchen so I painted the pantry door to match (kinda). The window re do I owe it to ideas from the cutest blog...thehouseofsmiths.blogspit.com . I needed to be inspired & I was. I do owe all the credit for my redo's to ideas from my new obsession "pinterest.com". check it out if you haven't already..you will then understand. haha}

So there is August in recap:)

love all the re-dos. Pinterest is awesome. Taylor has no idea what I see in it, but it makes everything seem do-able.
