{OgDeN HaLf mARaThoN}

{Last Saturday I participated once again in the Ogden Spring off Run which my work sponsors every year. But this year instead of doing the usual 5k a bunch of us signed up to the the half marathon. My work also shuttled us up to where the half started in a stretch Hummer limo and that night they had a dinner for all those that ran. I love the people I work for and with! I have the best job in the world!!

I have never been a fan of running but I thought this would be a great challenge & fun experience. I started training when Layla was 5 weeks. It has been alot of fun and I can now say I LOVE running, however I'm not fast but my goal was to not stop and that I did. Thanks to my friends & hubby for the support! It was so much fun..I loved every second of it. It turned out to be a beautiful day, perfect running weather! In fact I will be doing more in the future!}

way to go Holly, I'm so proud of you! Every one always thinks that a 1/2 marathon is easy enough and sounds so "do-able"... it's not until you really start training that you realize that 13 miles is a LONG way to run and takes a ton of commitment!

P.S. The running must have worked, because I don't see any "baby weight". I would never guess you just had a baby.
