{Layla's birth story began early Sunday, January 30th at Davis Hospital. We arrived at 7am, when we got there I was already dilated to a 3 1/2 and 80% effaced so from then on everything progressed really fast! Before I got on pitocin or even had my water broke i got the epidural first thing!(I didn't want any pain! ha) Then at nine the doc broke my water and the pitocin started. Within minutes my blood pressure had dropped super low causing me to feel horrible~nauseated, light headed and so numb that I couldn't even wiggle my toes! creepiest feeling ever. Luckily with a little oxygen and some drugs put into my IV I felt some what better. By elevenish my mom, mil & lil sis (who by the way took these amazing pics) showed up. It was perfect timing because by then I was at a ten and ready to push, doc showed up and a couple pushes later little Layla arrived at 11:54 am.
It was so exciting to finally meet her and have her here in our lives! We feel so blessed to have had such great nurses and doctors along the way and to have a healthy happy little baby girl! We are so in love with this little angel. Here are the pics from her arrival.

She is gorgeous! Glad she got here easily, love that. I was just looking at these with Adam, and I said, I'm having holly put lashes on me next time I'm going to have a baby, you look AmaZinG!!! So pretty. Congrats, I want to see more pictures of her in some cute little outfits in her darling room!
