This Labor day was spent Laboring in our yard. ( well, not me I have had a nasty cold all weekend & that's also why so many posts, good time to catch up) I know sounds exciting, but it actually is when its your first home and first yard that you put in yourself. We have kinda been working on our front yard all summer so here is the front....
(we really still need a few more plants & flowers to make it fuller and some rocks, but check out how nice our grass is coming in!)
And as for the back yard... last week we got our patio put in! I love how big and curvy it turned out. A special thanks to Denis Waters Construction..they did an excellent job! Then Monday MP & some of our neighbors put in our sprinklers & leveled out the dirt to get ready to plant our seed! We are so excited to finally have most of our yard done and by next year we should have a nice backyard to play in! Im so proud of MP and all the hard work he has done to our home and our yard! Im also so thankful for awesome friends and neighbors that have helped us!
oh yes and we have one side of our yard with a fence! yay!

Your yard looks great! It's all so much work, but so worth it. I actually find it more gratifying to be out pulling weeds then to clean inside my house. It doesn't get messed up as fast and immediately looks good.! Good job on the yard guys!
It really does look great, I'm impressed with how its turned out. I can't wait to start bbq-ing in your back yard next summer (nice way to invite myself...)
Holly it looks so good! yard work at your own home is WAY better than when you were growing up and your parents forced you into it on a Saturday morning!:) Hope you're feeling better!
I think I've said this before. But I would give an arm AND a leg for such a big, beautiful yard for Hazel to play in. It looks beautiful and I also love your "curvy" patio.

Your yard is HUGE and beautiful! I just saw you are expecting a girl and that is so so exciting. I love the name you have picked out. I don't doubt she will always look adorable.
