{We were so excited for the New Year to start cause that meant our little man was going to be a "Sunbeam"!!! He did so well, and loves to go with his class!Cant believe how fast he is growing up!!}

I know I always say this...but I really can't believe my baby is 1!! Crazy!!
Layla is such a sweet, loving baby girl! She brings our family such happiness!
She is so busy doing everything, she started walking a couple days before her birthday. It's so cute to see her grow.
Here are some fun things she is up to..
She is going up and down the stairs which makes me nervous...

At her 1 yr, she weighed 21.5 pds (50%tile) and is 29.5 inches tall(90%tile)

{Wooowzaa...have we been busy!! Probably like everyone else..things have been crazy around here. But I feel that I can finally breath and blog! ha
Our Christmas celebrations began Christmas Eve we headed to Mp's parents for our annual "fiesta" party, its filled with delicious food (tamales), games, reverse charades, a pinata, the story and play of the birth of Christ and finally opening our christmas jammies. It's so much fun!! I love it every year!!
Christmas morning was spent at our house with the kiddos opening gifts, then quickly getting ready for church and headed back to Mp's parents for a beautiful sacrament program and then back to their house for more food and presents. Then we headed to my sisters house to hang with my fam. The day was beautiful and filled with joy!! I loved seeing the light in my kids eyes the holiday season!!}

{Our Thanksgiving weekend was spent in beautiful St. George. The weather was so nice and warm! It was a perfect day. We had dinner at my sweet Grandmas house, her and my uncle always do such a nice job. The food is always delicious and the tables are always so fancy and fabulous. This year my mom made these adorable holly berry and leaves ice sculptures~ so nice.
Layla loved her first Turkey meal, as I knew she would! Trae on the other hand...haha did not, such a picky little eater!!
We have so much to be thankful for and we had a wonderful day!!Love my family!
Later that night I dragged MP out to go "Black Friday" shopping with me. He was a trooper, infact it was so fun that we stayed out all night finishing all of our Christmas shopping!!!

{The first week in November we planned a little weekend getaway with some of our friends! We dropped the kiddos off in SG with Grandma Patty & Papa Boo and made our way to Vegas. We stayed at Caesars Palace with VIP status, thanks to MP's parents! We were kinda bummed with the cold rainy weather however we still had a blast!!!It was a fun, much needed little getaway!!}
