{Can you believe this little pumpkin is already 10 weeks! yea, I can't either.

Last week Layla had her 2 month wellness check up. She is growing & adding weight quickly. She weighed in at 10 pds. 14 oz. (50 % tile) & is 22.7 (70%tile)inches long.

She is such a good baby. Loves to be held, loves to sleep, eat & smile. I am amazed at how well she sleeps at night..usually sleeping from 11pm to 6 or 7 am. It is so nice. Trae is such a good big brother, he loves to help hold her bottle and give her her Binky and blankie! Here are some recent pics of Layla @ 2 months!}

{hER SpeCiaL DaY}

{Last Sunday MP gave our little Layla her blessing & it was beautiful. I'm so thankful for him and all he does for our little family. It was such a nice day..after the blessing we had some family & friends join us for a yummy luncheon. I loved getting ready for this day..preparing the food, decorating, invites, outfits, the whole bit...even though it's a little stressful it turned out great! Thanks to everyone that came & helped to make this special day perfect! We are so grateful for Layla & Trae and the happiness they bring to us. }

{Trae & his bestie Olivia are all ways up to something together! Thankfully after the blessing these two decided to play in the backyard...but if you remember it had rained and snowed the night before so it was mud! ha they seriously always crack us up! Notice Trae lost a shoe in the mud.}

{6 YeArS!!!!}

{6 YearS ago ( March 12) I married my very best friend. It was the happiest day of my life and to this day I love him more than I did then. I am so thankful for the wonderful husband that he is and amazing father he is to our little babes! I'm happy that we still have forever to be together.

To celebrate our happiness last Saturday my in laws watch the kiddos while we went to dinner & shopping at the gateway. My two favorite things to do, shop & eat! ha ..The only thing missing was the sunshine. However shopping in the rain was fun! We ate at this delicious deli in the Avenues & then hit some of our favorite stores. MP is seriously the best person to shop with. He is patient & opinionated. We had a ton of fun & enjoyed just a little time to ourselves!}

My incredibly talented friend Mitzi has done it again! She took these amazing newborns of Layla when she was just a week old.I absolutely love them! Can't wait to show you her birth announcement..also very cute. I am so thankful for Mitzi's time and talent she spent on our little girl!

{Really? Our little baby is 5 weeks already? Seriously where does this precious time go? Time really has been flying by, I have already gone back to work just for a couple hours on Saturdays and in April I'll go back to my regular PT schedule. I love being with the kiddos but I do love a little time away from home. As for this week..post partum appointment already here and that means its time to start training for the Ogden Half Marathon in May! Yikes!..Wish me luck!

yeah these are my new kicks from the hubs!..To get me more excited about running 13.1 miles.

Layla is such a sweetheart, her little spirit is so strong in our home. She is starting to make more cooing and grunting noises and seems to be awake more often. She is sleeping pretty good at night & loves to be held! Trae is handling our new addition so well. He loves to talk to her and give her kisses. I can already tell that they are going to be the best of friends.}
