NeW YeAr ...NeW BaBY!!!

{We rang in 2011 with a party at our house with a bunch of friends and had a blast eating, playing games & tons of babies playing everywhere! It was so fun! We are excited for this new year & are especially excited to welcome our new baby!~

The nursery is officially finished & I couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out!(tons of pics below). Last week we had our Dr. appt and baby girl is measuring around 5 lbs. 8 ounces, and good news is I am dilated to a 2 & 50% effaced, as of now Doc scheduled my induction date for Jan. 30th!!(We are so excited! that's in less than 3 weeks!) I can't believe it, but I can't wait to meet her!}

{ChRiStMaS fUN}

I can't believe how fast this month has gone! So much has happened & we loved every second of all of it. It all began with THE parties. The spa I work at had a PJ party which of course us estheticians had to be noticed so we wore little boy jammies & yes I won for funniest. (I'm assuming cause of the belly!)

I also had a jammie party with some girlies from high school, a yummy dinner & presents of course!

We had a blast going to the lights this year with Trae, seeing Santa & riding "the choo choo twain" at the mall.

Christmas Eve is one of our favorite traditions at the Amos home. Mps parents do a delicious Mexican dinner with tons of great food, candy pinata, nativity scene & Christmas jammies for the kiddos. Its always so much fun!

Christmas was spent opening gifts from Santa, (which T loved, it is so fun to watch the expression of excitement when he opened his gifts!) Then we headed back to breakfast at the Amos' and enjoyed a relaxing day together. Unfortunately we didn't get to spend time with my family, but still had a wonderful holiday! Love you guys!We are so blessed to have had a great Christmas!

{I thought it would be nice to do family pics for our Christmas card since its been a while since we have had them done... and I also wanted to just get the maternity shots done at the same time, so here is our card and belly shots at 32 weeks~ I can't believe our little girl will be here soon!

What a wonderful time of the year that we get to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!}

{So with all the craziness of the holidays and preparing for Baby Girl to arrive I feel that I should post about our little man & what he has been up to! About a month ago we decided to change Traes bed from crib to toddler bed. For the first couple nights he did great, but now he wants in our bed! With my big ol belly and being uncomfortable as it is we have had to get him to stay in his bed, however every night is different. As for potty training.. we are still working on it! ha...

He is growing up so fast, I love it!!! but makes me sad at the same time. He is talking so much and becoming so independent. Its soo cute! We just adore him!

{Last weekend we took him to "Sesame Street" Live at the E-center. He absolutely LOVED it! He was so excited.... he was laughing, screaming & clapping the entire time! It was so funny and totally worth going just to see the excitement on his face.}

{TuRkEy DaY}

This Thanksgiving we were lucky enough to be able to spend it with both sides of our families! We usually go to SG for the weekend but my parents came up here for the week which was nice. We spent the day with All of our family, eating two dinners and two desserts. How lucky were we!?

We have so much to be thankful for and are so blessed to have spent it with those we love.

{MoNth 7 UPdatE}

{As I look back when I was prego with Trae...I noticed I don't have very many pics of me prego, so I'm trying really hard to document this one a little bit better, even though it's tuff seeing yourself expand, it still is a wonderful memory. So here we are at 28 weeks or 7 months for those that don't get the week thing!ha:) Time is flying however I still feel like February is FOREVER away! When I have MP take my pic, it's hilarious T always wants in! too cute! so I'll show you both. Our last appt was yesterday and Layla appears to be 2 pounds 12 ounces and is growing right to her due date. We got a really good pic of her face & I swear she looks just like Trae! We can't wait to meet her!}

{One of my besties, Ashley is due 3 weeks before me and the last time we were pregnant I was a few weeks ahead of her. I can't believe we are prego again at the same time, Trae and her little girl are 4 days apart so we will see about these two! I just love having friends prego at the same time as me, right now I have many that are.... so it's exciting! Here we are at both of her showers showing off our bumps!}

Here is all my hubby & FIL's hard work! It's turning out just perfect.

The wallpaper, paint and bead board are all finished, the refinished furniture pieces I have received from my sweet grandma that passed away (pink dresser), the turquoise dresser that was white received from a garage sale and the white rocking chair I bought off KSL are all ready!!!!(yes. I'm trying to be frugal this time around)We are just finishing putting the crib together and hanging the decor and organizing her stuff! My goal is to be nursery ready by Christmas!! I post the final pics then!!! EnjoY!}

Now is the time of the year for family pics!!~ Which reminds me I need to get ours done however I'm dreading them due to my largeness, ha! But being prego is a wonderful memory!

And as most of you know I am no professional photographer nor do I plan to further my photo skills, I do however ENJOY taking them just for fun...so I thought I'd document & share some recent fam pics I have taken the last couple weeks.
