gEttiNg ReAdY!

So T's 1st biRthDaY bAsH is in just over a month away and the party planning has begun! Im thinking a "MoNKEY" theme! cute, right. and look at this adorable cake that I'll attempt to make! ha anyway if you have any fun ideas let me know...so far I'm thinking brown, yellow & blue...monkeys...food....banana splits???? and for those far away planning on coming, Im thinking Saturday, July 11th. so excited!

{1st 5K}

Saturday my work sponsored those that wanted to participate in the Ogden Run. (and any of you that know me, well you all should.... never mind.....you know that i hate running! I'd rather be kickboxing or something) but I did it and i loved every second of running in the 5 K . I loved the feeling of getting up super early to run, I loved freezing before it started, I love all the excitement, i loved having my friends there and most all I loved finishing!!! it was seriously so much fun. I look up to those that participated in the Marathon, but I never could do it.

Later that night we had an amazing dinner at the owner of the spa's house and it too was a ton of fun!

That's right !!!Trae is 10 MONTHS and he now has his 1st tooth!! ( I swear he has been teething since he was 3 months:)

He is growing so fast, I just wish he would stay small forever!

Mp'S 26th birthday was the day we were to close on our new house but that morning they called us and said that there were some delays and we wouldn't be closing until next week! We were both so bummed!.......... So that night we went out to celebrate m's birthday and forget about the sadness of our house. We had a fun night!! happy Birthday M LOve Ya!

So finally last Monday night we closed on our house! We were so excited that we moved in that night! ha it was so much fun! Thanks to all of our friends and family for all your help!!! We are so happy and blessed to have a home to raise our family in, we love the neighborhood and are excited to be here!!!

{a gLimpse oF lAsT wEEk.....}

This past week was a ton of fun for us! first off.... last Tuesday night we went with our friends Melissa and Braden to the Britney Spears and Pussy Cat Dolls concert. We had yummy Crown Burger and then off to the concert ! It was so entertaining......we had a great time!

Then Wednesday, we took a trip down to St. George to visit my parents for a nice relaxing weekend! Our friends Hanna & Olivia got to ride with us which worked out great even when they were both crying!(ha thanks Hanna for taking care of them as I drove.)

It was beautiful weather and we enjoyed our little vaca for a couple days and while we were here daddy and his friends were here................

yeah that's right!!! you are witnessing our boys in Wendover! Crazy guys, but they had fun!

tRaE- 9 mOnThS!!!!

Monday Trae had his 9 month check up with his doc and he is now weighing 21 pounds and is 29 inches long and is still in the 90th percentile in both. He is healthy and some what happy! ? (ha) he has been teething the last couple of days, so we are just waiting for those teeth to show! He started crawling last week and is non stop, he is very busy and very curious!!!! He has started eating more finger foods and loves it! He is such a happy and fun baby! We are just lovin being parents!

We went swimming with our friends and their little girl Olivia for their first time, Trae didn't know what to think at first but after a while he was lovin it! We had so much fun! Can't wait for SUMMER!!!!

Yay!!! I finally got some pics on my computer, right in time for EAsTeR! ......and what a beautiful day it was, we had such a wonderful day! tRaE got lots of fun easter gifts, including his little bunny ears, ha doesn't he look so cute in them!!!!
